Here's a classic recipe for steak that is popular in the United States: Ingredients: - 2 boneless ribeye steaks, about 1 1/2 inches thick - Salt - Pepper - Olive oil - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter - 4 cloves garlic, minced - 2 sprigs fresh rosemary - 2 sprigs fresh thyme Instructions: 1. Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and allow them to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. 2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C). 3. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels, and then generously season them with salt and pepper on both sides. 4. Heat a large skillet over high heat until it's very hot. 5. Add a tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet, and then add the steaks. 6. Sear the steaks on one side for about 3-4 minutes, until a crust forms and they release easily from the skillet. 7. Flip the steaks over and sear the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes. 8. Add the butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme to the skillet. 9. Once the butter has melted, use a spoon to baste the steaks with the melted butter and herbs. 10. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 6-8 minutes, or until the steaks reach your desired level of doneness. 11. Remove the skillet from the oven and transfer the steaks to a cutting board. 12. Tent the steaks with foil and let them rest for 5-10 minutes. 13.
