Bagels is a type of bread that is boiled before being baked, resulting in a chewy texture. Here is a simple recipe for making bagels at home in the USA: Ingredients: - 4 cups bread flour - 1 tablespoon sugar - 2 teaspoons instant yeast - 1 tablespoon salt - 1 1/2 cups warm water - 1 egg white - Toppings of your choice (such as sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or everything bagel seasoning) Instructions: 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. 2. Slowly add in the warm water and mix until a dough forms. 3. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic. 4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes. 5. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball. 6. Use your fingers to poke a hole in the center of each ball and stretch the dough into a bagel shape. 7. Place the bagels on a greased baking sheet and cover with a damp cloth. Let them rise for 20 minutes. 8. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C). 9.
